Humans put animals in awkward positions to which we'd never subject ourselves. Birds in cages, dogs on leashes, lions jumping through flaming hoops.

To dress women in riding tack, impaled by poles, leaping gracefully, seemed a wonderful extension of this conceit....

I based this lady off of Halle Berry, and “Fiore” means “flower” in Italian.
